Testimony—real testimony, born of the Spirit and confirmed by the Holy Ghost—changes lives.

A testimony is a witness or confirmation of eternal truth impressed upon individual hearts and souls through the Holy Ghost, whose primary ministry is to testify of truth, particularly as it relates to the Father and the Son. When one receives a testimony of truth through this divinely appointed process, it immediately begins to have impact on that person’s life. According to Alma the Younger, “it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves … the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me” (Alma 32:28).


On November 10th, 2010. Was the first time i beared my testimony in church. I had a very very strong feeling and was just getting more and more strong inside my body close to my heart and close to my stomach area. I was at the Bonneville High School institute building for the church sacrament together with at that time "date" Jeffrey Grisham. Jeff had invited me for coming with him to his church meeting. Jeff had kist beared his testimony and right after him i just could not wait anymore and i had to go and speak. I had to go and say how thankful i am for missionary work and how it has helped me and my family. It means a lot to me and that i felt very strong about it! I just remember everybody looking at me and smiling while i was speaking. After that i went and sit down next to Jeff and he told me how happy he was to hear that and told me thank you!

It was a very special moment for me and it will stay always marked in my mind.

I am back here in Logan, Utah. Today i am here with my parents and my brother. The whole family it is together in one city. I am greatful for that.

I got this posting that says the Strategies of Faith-

Curitiba,28th of march of 2010.

I attended the church today in Brasil at the Ala Cajuru, Estaca Curitiba,Brazil.
I had this amazing experience at the testemony meeting..more them 20 people stand up to bear their testemony and it was so awesome!!! I was so touched by this and my heart just felt amazingly strong by all this members. Also, when we sang the hymms in portuguese it was just so awesome! :) It makes me so happy!

My Brother's speech at USU-Logan,UT,U.S.A.

It was a wonderful day at USU last week, hearing my brother speak about leadership to a group of students. My brother came all the way from Qatar for a conference and to speak at the university.
I have noted some important subjects that he touched at his speech and will be posting this week more.. :)
So so proud of him!!! :)

But if ye will nourish the WORD, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to GROW,by your FAITH with GREAT DILIGENCE, and WITH PATIENCE, LOOKING FORWARD to THE FRUIT thereof.

Ye shall reap(receive) the rewards of your faith, and your diligence, and patience, and long-suffering, waiting for the tree to bring forth fruit unto you.

My fitness goals for 2010 and thinking always about taking care of the body,mind and soul.

Exercise and my fitness goals for 2010-

Today I sit down with my exercise physiologist,which by the way, he has the Idaho record of bench press(i was not aware of that until today when he told me), anyways, we discussed what are my goals to be achieved for this year in prospective of my health and fitness. It is good to have access to this type of personal and i will continue to press forward with the standards that i have set up. I also like that i get a lot of one-on-one training and that not too many people seems to be taking advantage of what the hospital has to offer to its volunteers and employees.

Volunteering = A pocket full of Sunshine! :)

Idaho Falls, 28th of January of 2010.

It has been wonderful experience and the impact of volunteering services here at the local hospital and out in Brazil with my family and friends.

At the local hospital here in Idaho falls, I have got a chance to volunteer in different projects like with the new pre-mature babies, i get to take pictures of them,give little gifts from the hospital to their moms, it is such a great time. Also,i get to shadow a physical therapist this coming week. I love to get involved with the community.

In Brasil we do a lot of projects too and specially with street kids. I can't tell you how much happiness it brings to my life when i see the smiles of the kids. It is priceless.

volunteering has become a big part of my life which a lot of my influences come from my mom and grandmas that have given a lot of their hours for different causes during their lives.

The joy of hard work and accomplishing in your life.

In Relief Society today we studied about VIRTUES which for myself i have been thinking about this subject during the past week and this topic just came in the right moment of my life. So, some of the quotes and information i decided to save and post in my blog are information that i feel very strong in my life and that i live by and makes me so happy to know that i focus strongly on my path and my personality traits that come from having wonderful parents that thought me well and with love and togetherness forever! I miss both of them right now, but our hearts are always together and their love and life living always by their example. I love you mom and dad! You are the best!

When I say I am going to do it I do it!

I remember the example of the mattress. I had a mattress that was given to me by a friend and when i was moving from Seattle i remember another friend of mine that was in need of a mattress so, i made my mind that i was going to take it to her. My friends thought that i was crazy to do all this work for my friend and that i should let her come and get the mattress, let her rent a truck, spend the money, if she wanted the mattress and if she did not want to pick it up, i was supposed to just announce a craigslist or throw it in the garbage(that's what my friends told me, i should do).
In my mind, i was like, NO, I Priscila, will take to my friend and it didn't matter how i was going to deliver to her house as I said so and wanted to do so.I keep my words that i live by and i do it.

So, the day that i was going to deliver the mattress I rented a U haul truck, i myself put the mattress in the back of the truck and deliver the mattress to my friend. She was so happy and now she has a bed to sleep on.

Those friends that said that to me where no where to find that day, which also thought me a lesson about them. I just know that "One virtuous woman, led by the Spirit can change the world!"


Family comes first and stick together

Always comes first and always stick together no matter what. That shows how strong your love for your family is. To find a partner that thinks the same on this and we both can grow stronger everyday, it always reminds me of my parents. Their love and togetherness has grown into me as i saw their lives growing everyday as a couple and as a family.
